The US Army is receiving a boost in deployable energy through a vehicle-based power generation kit developed by Michigan Technological University.

Engineered by APS LABS, the system operates at 600 volts DC and can produce upwards of 120 kW. Designed for multi-vehicle compatibility, it supplies expeditionary power for high-demand battlefield applications, including defense systems, command infrastructure, and medical support equipment.
