BAE Systems has joined forces with systems integrator PragoData to enhance the Czech Republic’s defense logistics and equipment management capabilities. The collaboration focuses on delivering Integrated Product Support (IPS) solutions aimed at improving how the Czech military maintains and sustains its critical assets.

Under the agreement, BAE Systems will initially equip PragoData with software and lifecycle maintenance services, including tools for asset tracking and performance monitoring. The two companies will integrate their expertise to strengthen the operational efficiency of armored vehicles and complex defense systems, helping Czech defense organizations extend the life and reliability of their equipment.

A cornerstone of this partnership is BAE Systems’ PropheSEA asset management software, already in use with the Royal Navy and several NATO forces. PropheSEA enables real-time tracking of maintenance data and integrates with Eurostep’s ShareAspace platform, facilitating secure information exchange and logistics coordination across the defense ecosystem. BAE Systems noted that this digital infrastructure will help Czech forces reduce equipment downtime and improve readiness levels.

The initiative aligns with Czechia’s broader modernization agenda, which includes plans to raise defense spending to 3% of GDP by 2030. The BAE-PragoData collaboration introduces advanced data-driven logistics capabilities to complement the country’s expanding defense manufacturing and sustainment network.

Recent moves by Prague underscore this momentum: the first CV90 MkIV infantry fighting vehicles have been delivered under a 200-unit contract, and the government has approved the purchase of 44 Leopard 2A8 battle tanks worth over 32.76 billion Czech koruna ($1.56 billion), with deliveries set between 2028 and 2031.
