BAE Systems’ subsidiary OneArc secured a five-year contract to modernize the Italian Army’s virtual training systems. The upgrade replaces VBS3 with VBS4 and introduces Mantle terrain-generation software. The new setup improves multi-domain training, terrain modeling, and interoperability with NATO partners while ensuring continued mission rehearsal capabilities.
