Battelle has secured a major STEP 2.0 contract from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency to lead a biological threat mitigation initiative valued at up to $93.3 million. The program supports global biodefense efforts by strengthening scientific and technical solutions that address emerging biological risks. Through this agreement, Battelle will contribute advanced research, diagnostics, and preparedness strategies aimed at enhancing US military readiness.
