Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) has received licensed manufacturing rights from the Indian government to develop support units for Arjun tanks.
BEML will manufacture Unit Maintenance and Unit Repair Vehicles, alongside 70-ton trailers with state-of-the-art hydraulic suspensions to transport the tanks.
The Indian Army’s Armoured Corps will utilize these assets to maintain and support combat readiness, focusing on field repairs and mobility for the Arjun fleet.
