Collins Aerospace has been awarded a contract by Boeing to supply 144 Advanced Concept Ejection Seat (ACES) II systems for the US Air Force’s F-15EX Eagle II fighter jets. The production work will take place in Colorado Springs, supporting more than 90 aircraft being built to replace the aging F-15C/D fleet. Additionally, Collins will provide wheels and brakes for all the new jets.
