Rheinmetall has confirmed a new deal to supply 14 additional Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks to the Czech Republic. The contract, signed by Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH CEO Björn Bernhard and Lubor Koudelka from the Czech Ministry of Defence, is worth EUR 161 million. The tanks—primarily sourced from Swiss surplus stocks—will be refurbished and customized to meet Czech operational standards. Deliveries are scheduled for completion by the end of 2026 and will include ammunition and logistical support as part of a complete package.
