A new $277 million agreement will see Elbit Systems deliver UT30 MK2 remote turrets and associated munitions to an undisclosed international buyer over the next three years.
The turret has recently gained traction in Europe, with General Dynamics European Land Systems choosing it for ASCOD armored vehicles and Romania integrating it into its Piranha V carriers.
Built for flexibility, the UT30 MK2 can transition between crewed and remote modes and supports multiple missile and sensor configurations. Its primary armament includes a 30mm Mk44 Bushmaster II autocannon, paired with a 7.62mm machine gun and anti-tank guided missiles. The system also incorporates independent sighting units and complies with STANAG 4569 Level 4 ballistic standards.
