The Estonian Defense Forces have acquired the initial six Caesar self-propelled howitzers from a joint procurement deal signed in mid-2024 with France and KNDS. The agreement, which includes a total of 12 Caesar MK1s and potential for future expansion, marks a key step in Estonia’s artillery modernization. Each howitzer is estimated to cost around $4.3 million.
