France has finalized a contract to procure 530 Serval 4×4 lightweight multirole armored vehicles for its army as part of the SCORPION modernization effort. Announced by Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu, deliveries are planned from 2025 through 2031. The agreement also includes an option for 97 more vehicles, potentially pushing the deal’s total value above 1 billion euros ($1.03 billion), depending on future requirements.
