HII’s Mission Technologies division has been awarded a multiple-award contract valued at up to $267 million to support US Navy training initiatives. The agreement enables HII to compete for various task orders that will aid the Naval Education and Training Professional Development Center along with other Navy training units.
Under the program, HII will deliver a wide range of training solutions including curriculum development, digital learning platforms such as Navy e-learning, and tools designed to improve sailor career progression and operational readiness. The focus will be on aligning training systems with evolving mission requirements.
This award is the latest in a series of major training contracts for HII across US military services. In June, the company secured a $379 million deal with the US Army to provide live training systems for ranges and combat centers, enhancing realistic readiness.
Earlier this year, HII won a $182 million contract from the US Air Force to sustain F-16 training simulators, particularly through engineering support for the Mission Tactics Trainer. Additionally, in 2023, the firm was tapped to build a blended live-virtual training environment under the Joint Training Synthetic Environment initiative for both US and allied forces.
