The Indian Army is preparing to order more than $1 billion in ammunition for its Pinaka multi-barrel rocket launchers before the fiscal year concludes on March 31. The procurement includes two types: high-explosive pre-fragmented rounds worth approximately 57 billion INR ($660 million) and area denial munitions valued at around 45 billion INR ($520 million).
