India’s Ministry of Defence has signed contracts with BEML Ltd. to supply high-mobility 8×8 vehicles and military-grade trailers for the Indian Army. The 8×8 vehicles are valued at ₹1.36 billion ($16 million), while the trailers will cost ₹835 million ($9.8 million). Designed for tough terrain, the vehicles feature advanced suspension systems and a powerful air-cooled engine.
