India’s Kalyani Group showcased its 155 mm/45 caliber artillery system at IDEX 2025. Named the Multi-terrain Artillery Gun (MArG), it is the first 155 mm weapon system mounted on a 4×4 high mobility vehicle. Traditionally, artillery systems over 105 mm are considered unsuitable for wheeled platforms unless mounted on larger 6×6 or heavier vehicles, making this innovation a significant mobility advancement.
