Rafael Advanced Defense Systems has debuted its upgraded Iron Beam 450 laser system, showcasing a major enhancement in power and precision through a 450-millimeter aperture.
Compared to the older 250mm configuration, the Iron Beam 450 allows for greater accuracy over long ranges by offering improved tracking and locking on aerial threats.
The increased aperture size also supports longer beam coherence, ensuring higher impact efficiency through atmospheric disturbances like fog, sand, or humidity.
