Sweden has ordered 100 four-wheel-drive medical vehicles from Iveco as part of a 2023-launched initiative to upgrade its light military fleet.
The contract represents the second order within a 3,000-vehicle plan featuring 12 variants of the Multipurpose Utility Vehicle (MUV).
The initial phase comprised 400 units: 200 flatbeds, 100 personnel carriers, and 100 medical support platforms.
The contract timeline runs through 2027, with an optional five-year extension in place.
Vehicles will arrive with maintenance tools and logistical support to ensure reliable service in the field.
