Kuwait has inaugurated the Nayef Light Ammunition Factory, marking its first domestic ammunition production facility. The ceremony was led by Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Built to NATO manufacturing standards, the plant enhances national defense self-sufficiency. The facility will collaborate with NORINCO for technology transfer and training support. Officials described the plant as a strategic milestone for Kuwait’s defense industrial base.
