Lithuania is investing €300 million ($337.4 million) to develop its defense industry under the Vytis Initiative. The program will support around 100 defense companies by boosting innovation, facilitating exports, and enhancing R&D. It also aims to address sector-wide issues like funding gaps, testing infrastructure, and coordination challenges to elevate Lithuania’s position as a regional defense innovation hub.
