Lithuania’s Defence Materiel Agency has signed a €950 million agreement with KNDS Deutschland for 44 LEOPARD 2 A8 main battle tanks. This marks Lithuania’s first step toward establishing an armored unit, making it the 23rd country to operate the LEOPARD 2. The contract also includes spare parts and a full logistics support package.
