The Gentex LX9™ Liner System, now available from Gentex Corporation, offers a major comfort upgrade for ground troops wearing helmets like the ACH, ECH, or NG-IHPS. It includes a nine-part pad configuration using comfort foam and EPP, tailored for both breathability and secure fit. A new brow pad enhances helmet stability, especially during active movement. Designed to fit all head sizes using standard hook-and-loop setups, the LX9 system addresses issues with overheating and pressure from previous designs. The US Army will receive over 18,000 units for the NG-IHPS system starting in 2025.
