The Netherlands has selected Oshkosh Defense to provide 150 Dutch Expeditionary Patrol Vehicles (DXPV), reinforcing the nation’s drive for agile, high-performance land mobility under the Future Littoral All Terrain Mobility – Patrol Vehicle (FLATM-PV) initiative. DXPV, adapted from the renowned Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) platform, is set to replace older Humvee models and equip Dutch forces with enhanced off-road and all-terrain capabilities.
This procurement ensures that Dutch expeditionary units have vehicles that are not only resilient and easily maintainable but also designed to operate effectively in challenging coastal, riverine, and mixed land environments. The JLTV’s combat-proven design foundation supports modular armor, advanced communications, and state-of-the-art driver safety tools, promising improved survivability and mission flexibility.
The selection of Oshkosh reaffirms close US-Netherlands defense industrial ties and demonstrates The Netherlands’ focus on interoperable technology and operational readiness for future operations at home and abroad.
