Romania’s Ministry of Defense, through Romtehnica, has signed a significant deal with Turkey’s Otokar to procure 1,059 COBRA II 4×4 tactical armored vehicles. Valued at €857 million, the agreement supports Romania’s defense modernization and includes substantial local production, strengthening bilateral defense industry ties.
