The Pentagon has awarded a $10 million contract to Ask Sage to accelerate the integration of generative AI across its defense operations. This initiative will extend the deployment of large language models (LLMs) throughout all Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
The project is focused on enhancing critical mission areas, including operational planning, logistics, intelligence, cybersecurity, command and control, and weapons systems development. The core of this expansion is the US Army’s LLM workspace, where Ask Sage’s AI tools will be scaled to support both classified and unclassified defense environments.
