Poland has accepted its initial shipment of M1A2 Abrams main battle tanks from the US under a 2022 foreign military sale agreement. The delivery of 28 tanks, equipped with the advanced System Enhanced Package 3, arrived at the port of Gdynia. These upgrades enhance the tanks’ combat capabilities in terms of armor, mobility, and firepower. After arrival, the tanks will be sent to Poznań for inspection before being distributed to military units.
