Poland’s Army has fielded its new K2 Black Panther tanks in Slovakia during multinational exercises, marking a milestone in its military modernization. The 9th Braniewo Armored Cavalry Brigade confirmed the tank’s operational debut. Acquired from South Korea’s Hyundai Rotem under a 2022 deal, the fleet will eventually total 110 tanks, with the initial 10 units delivered alongside 29 K9 howitzers shortly after the agreement was finalized.
