RTX has been awarded a $946 million contract to supply Romania with additional Patriot missile defense systems, enhancing the nation’s air defense capabilities. This marks Romania’s third procurement of the system, following earlier deals in 2017 and 2020. The agreement includes delivery of Patriot fire units, which comprise advanced radar arrays, command centers, and interceptor missiles.
