Israeli defense firm Robotican has unveiled an upgraded version of its ROOSTER hybrid drone, enhancing it with precision-guided strike capabilities. Originally designed for reconnaissance in urban and indoor environments, the new variant expands the system’s role into direct attack missions.
The upgraded ROOSTER can now carry payloads of up to 300 grams (10.6 ounces). This capacity allows it to integrate a compact warhead in addition to standard surveillance and tactical equipment.
By incorporating this feature, Robotican has effectively converted the platform from a dedicated scout system into a loitering munition. This enables troops to conduct reconnaissance and execute precise strikes in challenging environments such as narrow urban corridors, inside buildings, or within underground tunnels.
