BAE Systems has announced a fresh order from Sweden’s military procurement agency to deliver more BONUS smart artillery rounds for the country’s armed forces.
The contract, worth nearly $62 million (600 million Swedish kronor), marks another step in Sweden’s commitment to advanced precision munitions.
The BONUS round, developed by BAE Systems Bofors, is a sensor-fuzed 155mm shell designed to seek and destroy enemy armored vehicles — improving the effectiveness of Sweden’s artillery regiments across varying terrain and threat environments.
