Thales and KNDS France have unveiled a ground-based version of their RAPIDFire naval defense system, designed to safeguard critical land assets in high-threat operational environments.
Optimized for short-range engagements, the system is capable of countering a wide range of threats including drones, loitering munitions, low-end cruise missiles, and indirect fire. With a range of up to 4 kilometers, it provides reliable point defense coverage.
Equipped with a 140-round ready-to-fire ammunition rack, the system minimizes the need for frequent reloads, enhancing its operational efficiency in dynamic combat scenarios.
