Italy’s Ministry of Defense has signed a deal with the Iveco-Oto Melara Consortium (CIO) to supply 76 Medium Armored Combat Vehicles (VBMs). The order includes 60 standard combat units and 16 configured for anti-tank operations, all based on the VBM Plus 8×8 design. The contract also includes logistics support and an undisclosed number of 10×10 recovery vehicles for the Second Medium Brigade.
