ASELSAN, Turkey’s leading defense company, has unveiled the KORKUT 100/25 SB, a new mobile counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (C-UAV) platform designed to combat a wide spectrum of aerial threats. The system can target everything from small reconnaissance quadcopters to larger loitering munitions, providing flexible protection for modern battlefields.
The design builds upon ASELSAN’s proven KORKUT family of self-propelled anti-aircraft guns. By adapting the platform into a counter-drone role, the company has created a system that combines mobility, precision firepower, and integrated layered defenses, ensuring operators can respond quickly to fast-changing aerial environments.
Crucially, the KORKUT 100/25 SB fills the gap between traditional small arms fire and expensive missile-based interceptors. This scalability makes it a cost-effective solution for militaries facing an increasing number of low-cost aerial threats, where deploying costly missiles would be unsustainable.
