Spanish automotive manufacturer Tecnove has entered into a significant new partnership with Ukrainian defense company Practika to assemble armored combat vehicles at its Herencia facility in central Spain. The joint project supports Practika’s push for international expansion, with the initial systems set for delivery to customers beyond Ukraine.
The agreement covers two key vehicle families: the Kozak and Djura, both in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Each model will be built in multiple configurations—personnel carrier, armored ambulance, and special operations variant—underscoring a flexible production approach tailored for modern battlefield requirements.
This collaboration exemplifies the growing European commitment to supporting Kyiv’s forces with advanced, efficiently produced military vehicles, as well as boosting regional defense industrial capacity in response to evolving security demands.
