Ukraine has revealed its first indigenous laser weapon system, named Tryzub, during a recent defense conference. Announced last December and now seen in field trial footage, Tryzub demonstrated the ability to neutralize ground targets and disrupt optical equipment on drones, showing both kinetic and non-kinetic operational modes.
Senior Ukrainian military officials view this as a leap in localized defense technology, combining counter-drone disruption with the possibility of physical target engagements in one battlefield-ready solution.
