The Royal Navy’s cutting-edge Maritime Electronic Warfare System Integrated Capability (MEWSIC) has completed production of its first unit and is now in the final phase of testing and enhancement. The system will be deployed across major fleet assets, including the Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers, Type 45 destroyers, and upcoming Type 26 and 31 frigates. Developed under a 13-year, £100 million ($125 million) contract, the system is a collaboration between Babcock, Elbit Systems UK, and QinetiQ.
