Ursa Major has secured a $32.9 million contract to develop and supply 16 enhanced Hadley H13 engines to Stratolaunch. This multi-year agreement builds on the companies’ proven flight partnership and supports Stratolaunch’s increasing operational tempo.
The Hadley H13 is an upgraded version designed to improve reusability by supporting more engine starts, ultimately lowering the cost per flight while enabling expanded test scenarios and mission flexibility.
Ursa Major’s Hadley engines have already powered several successful Talon-A missions, including high-speed operations exceeding Mach 5 and successful vehicle recoveries, validating the engine’s reliability and performance in real-world conditions.
