As part of its effort to update ground combat assets, the US Army has received its first shipment of upgraded Stryker armored vehicles and JLTVs. These platforms were delivered to the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, based in Horsham, Pennsylvania. This unit, also known as the Independence Brigade, is one of nine Stryker-operating brigades in the Army and the first to do so within the reserve forces.
