
In support of its battlefield modernization efforts, the US Army has signed a $13-million deal with SMARTSHOOTER for the delivery of SMASH 2000L smart fire control systems. These AI-powered devices, also known as SMASH 3000s, enhance shooting accuracy through real-time tracking and computer vision. Compact and efficient, the system offers up to 72 hours of assistance via a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It is part of the “Transformation In Contact” initiative aimed at adopting next-gen combat tools. Fulfillment of the contract will be carried out by SMARTSHOOTER’s US office located in Virginia.
