The US Army plans to invest $250 million to acquire 50 additional AMPVs to replace M113 vehicles sent to Ukraine. Built by BAE Systems, the AMPV enhances survivability with improved armor and weapon systems. The program aims to replace nearly 2,900 legacy vehicles within Armored Brigade Combat Teams.
