Airbus Helicopters has delivered the first of up to 82 H145M helicopters ordered by Germany less than a year after the agreement was signed. Delivered from Airbus’ Donauwörth facility, the helicopters have been designated by the German Armed Forces as “Leichter Kampfhubschrauber” (LKH), meaning light combat helicopter. These aircraft will be used for missions including training, reconnaissance, operations involving special forces, and light attack duties.
