Austal has handed over the 10th Evolved Cape-class Patrol Boat to the Royal Australian Navy at its Henderson shipyard. Originally contracted for six vessels in 2020, the order expanded to ten through extensions. The 58-meter aluminum patrol boats support 28-day missions, reach 25 knots, and perform border security, surveillance, and interdiction tasks.
