Babcock has officially unveiled HMS Venturer (F12), the Royal Navy’s first Type 31 frigate, at its shipyard in Rosyth, Scotland. The event marks the completion of the ship’s three-year construction phase and the start of its final outfitting process before entering service. The vessel was transported using specialized cradles to prepare for its initial launch into the River Forth, expected later this summer. After launch, it will return to Rosyth for dockside integration and sea trial preparations.
