Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. company, announced at the 2025 Paris Air Show the signing of a purchase agreement with the Tunisian Air Force for 12 SUBARU Bell 412EPX helicopters, marking the first regional order for this variant. These helicopters will support a variety of multi-role military and security operations. With this acquisition, the Tunisian military expands its Bell rotary-wing fleet, which already includes Bell UH-1s, 205s, and OH-58s, bringing the total to 39 Bell aircraft in service.

Renowned for its versatility and proven reliability, the Bell 412 is widely used for military and public safety missions worldwide. Over 54% of the Bell 412 fleet currently supports military and parapublic operations. The Tunisian deal follows recent Bell 412 acquisitions by operators such as the Japan Coast Guard, San Diego Fire and Rescue, and the Ministries of Interior in Croatia and Sarajevo Canton.

The SUBARU Bell 412EPX offers a maximum internal weight of 12,200 lbs, an external load capacity of 13,000 lbs, and can carry up to 5,000 lbs on its cargo hook, making it well-suited for a wide range of demanding missions.
