Boeing has won a $2.73 billion post-production support contract from the United States to sustain the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter fleet through 2030. The long-term agreement reinforces Boeing’s role as the prime support provider for one of the US Army’s most critical rotary-wing combat platforms.
Under the contract, Boeing will deliver comprehensive maintenance, sustainment, and technical support services, ensuring high readiness rates across the Apache fleet. The scope of work includes spare parts supply, systems upgrades, engineering support, and fault resolution, enabling continuous operational availability for frontline units.
The Apache remains a cornerstone of US Army combat operations, performing missions such as close air support, armed reconnaissance, and anti-armor warfare. Maintaining fleet reliability is essential as the aircraft continues to operate in complex and high-threat environments.
Boeing has supported several Apache modernization efforts in recent years. In 2022, the company completed the AH-64E Guardian upgrade program, enhancing older airframes with modern avionics, communications, and advanced sensors. In 2023 and 2024, Boeing delivered upgraded AH-64E helicopters and mission equipment packages, including improved navigation and targeting systems, further strengthening the Army’s combat readiness and training capabilities.
