CACI International has secured a five-year task order valued at up to $212 million to modernize enterprise-level network infrastructure across multiple US Space Force installations. The contract supports ongoing efforts to enhance digital connectivity and cyber resilience as the Space Force expands its mission requirements in increasingly contested operational environments.
The task order falls under the Pentagon’s Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) Base Infrastructure Modernization program, which carries a total ceiling value of $12.5 billion. Through this initiative, CACI will help transform and unify legacy network architectures, ensuring seamless and secure connectivity to support mission-critical operations and warfighter readiness across air and space domains.
Under the scope of work, CACI will upgrade base area networks linking internal communications and data-sharing systems between barracks, command centers, and operational facilities at 14 military bases. The modernization effort is designed to improve performance, reliability, and scalability as demand for secure, high-capacity networks continues to grow across Space Force installations.
The award builds on CACI’s expanding role in US military technology programs. In December, the company accepted a separate $79 million contract to support the US Army’s efforts to counter adversarial electronic warfare threats. That program focuses on developing radio-frequency-enabled tools to enhance explosive ordnance disposal and electronic countermeasure capabilities, strengthening survivability and combat effectiveness against emerging battlefield threats.
