CJADC2 is the US Department of Defense’s framework for linking sensors, commanders, and weapons across air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace domains. Expanding upon JADC2, it extends connectivity to allied forces. Rather than a single system, CJADC2 is an architecture built on shared data standards, secure networks, and interoperable technologies. By decoupling sensors from shooters, it allows any platform—such as a Patriot battery or naval destroyer—to engage threats detected elsewhere. Artificial intelligence assists in data fusion and prioritization, while human commanders retain authority.
