Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer has introduced a refreshed paint scheme for its KC-390 Millennium, the company’s advanced military transport aircraft. The new livery will be used as a standard design for international exhibitions, marketing campaigns, and other promotional events. Embraer has also confirmed that future customers will have the option of customizing the exterior design to meet their own operational or branding requirements.

The updated demonstrator is expected to make appearances at global aerospace and defense exhibitions before the close of 2025. According to Embraer, the move reflects its growing efforts to expand the KC-390’s visibility in international markets, where demand for the transport aircraft continues to rise.

The KC-390 Millennium stands out for its versatility and robust performance. Measuring 35 meters in length, the aircraft can carry up to 26,000 kilograms of cargo or transport as many as 80 personnel. It also holds 35,000 kilograms of fuel, enabling it to operate at extended ranges. Powered by twin IAE V2500-E5 turbofan engines, the aircraft reaches speeds above 500 knots, covers distances up to 4,570 nautical miles, and operates at altitudes of 11,000 meters.

Beyond cargo and troop transport, the KC-390 can be configured for a wide range of missions, including medical evacuations, aerial firefighting, humanitarian relief, and search-and-rescue operations. To enhance survivability in contested environments, it can be equipped with electronic warfare systems, missile countermeasures, and additional self-defense equipment, making it a flexible and resilient platform for modern military needs.
