Fincantieri has launched the first vessel of Italy’s next-generation offshore patrol program, the Ugolino Vivaldi. Built for surveillance, maritime security, and environmental monitoring, the ship supports multiple missions across Italy’s exclusive economic zone. Featuring centralized ship control systems, it allows operations with minimal crew while maintaining high efficiency. Delivery is scheduled for 2027, enhancing Italy’s maritime security capability.
