Rauma Marine Constructions has floated out the Finnish Navy’s first Pohjanmaa-class multi-role corvette at its shipyard in Satakunta. The vessel has now entered its final outfitting phase and is slated for delivery and commissioning by 2027. The remaining corvettes in the class are expected to be operational by 2029. Construction began in November 2023 with the cutting of the first steel, and the ship’s hull was finalized in February 2025.
