A Florida startup, PureCipher, has entered into an agreement with the U.S. Air Force to supply advanced, AI-driven communication solutions for frontline military use. As part of this contract, the company will implement systems capable of delivering secure, undetectable, and tamper-resistant communications in real time—an essential upgrade for urgent combat and operational scenarios.
The contract was awarded through the AFWERX innovation initiative, which operates under the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. This program is designed to accelerate technological deployment by simplifying the contract process, eliminating red tape, and promoting innovation through collaborations with emerging tech startups. With PureCipher’s involvement, the Air Force aims to bolster mission-critical communications infrastructure using next-generation technologies built for tactical reliability and cybersecurity.
