Babcock International has secured a new agreement to provide pilot training services for the French Air and Space Force and the French Navy. The contract covers classroom instruction, live-flight training, and simulator instructor preparation. Initial flight screening will take place at Salon-de-Provence Air Base using Cirrus SR22 aircraft, while advanced phases will occur at Cognac Air Base on Grob 120 trainers. The deal continues Babcock’s longstanding participation in France’s military aviation training pipeline, following its previous contract to supply an L-39 jet to the EPNER test pilot school.
